This book is a great compilation. But that is what it is. I was excited to get 60 new patterns for strip, however, many of the quilts have been published in other That Patchwork Place and Martingale books. So if you already have several strip patterns, I suggest you see how many are new to you before you buy this book. If you are new to strip piecing, then this is a perfect book.
My goodness! 60 projects in one book! This book is a compiled with quilts from numerous well known quilters. This is a strip quilter's haven using all those 2 1/2" strips that we all have. Once again, Martingale does a great job with illustrations so that there aren't any questions on constructions of the blocks or explanations of techniques. Visual quilters rejoice! The Big Book of Strip Quilts is the bible for ideas of what quilts to make with those strips. There is something for everyone in this 227 page book. Strip on!
