This book is huge! With so many fantastic amigurumi to choose from - it will be hard to pick just one to make! The instructions are clearly written and easy to follow. Some of my favourites are Stroller Toys, Rattles, Baby Hedgehog and her Mommy and Happy Eggs. My daughter (who is 5) loves Oli's Baby. This is a definite 'must have' amigurumi book for anyone who loves to crochet amigurumi.
Adorable Amigurumi Faces

Of course, all crochet critters are cute but there's just something about the faces on Ana's amigurumi designs that are especially adorable. I especially love the crochet dog with the spot around its eye. However, if the dog isn't your cup of tea, there are plenty of other animals to choose from. Wild-maned but friendly-looking lions, monkeys dressed in clothing and smiling hedgehogs are just a few of the options that you'll have when you get your hands on a copy of this book.
What a fantastic collection of amigurumi. The book is packed full of brilliant patterns. If you love to make amigurumi then you will love this book. There are just soo many fantastically cute designs that the only problem you may have is choosing which one to make first. All the patterns are in a written format and are really easy to follow. All the parts you will need to make are detailed including any features you may need to add in felt. It would make a fantastic present for someone. Not only are they brilliant for kids they are cute and fun for adults as well. Your sure to have more than one favorite if not the whole book.
Everything amigurumi……animals, vehicles, food, tea set, toys and more. I didn’t see a difficulty rating listed, but I’m confident that if you know single crochet, and you know how to increase and decrease, you will be able to make these. My first impression was, WOW! 179 pages!!! With that many pages and dozens of projects there has to be something you will like. I don’t make too many ami items because of my hands, but there are definitely a few cute items I need to put on my to-do list. The projects are small, and there are multiple age levels (car seat toys, toy airplane for older babies/toddlers, food items for toddlers and younger children. I’m amazed at the size of this book and quantity of items included.
As always Martingale has included tons of resources and extras beyond the patterns themselves. There is stitch help, resources, and tips to just name a few.

Review excerpted from Crochet Queen: Royal Ramblings Blog by Gwen Blakely Kinsler, December 2014

Yet another book on the popular crochet-style, Amigurumi, has been added to the stable of offerings. At first glance, one might think the book contains just repeats of oft-seen patterns: the ubiquitous owl, plentiful penguins and common cookies. About then the clever style of Ana Rimoli kicks in to surprise the reader! The carefree look of the Mommy and Baby Hedgehogs along with their disco-era hair makes you want to kiss them! The "Hot-Air Balloon" is colorful and clever and as Ana Paula says, "It hangs in the room and watches my children play". "Little Bunny and Her Carrot Home" will provide endless hours of play for the little ones. Once it is done, Ana suggests you fill the carrot with jelly beans and set the bunny on top for an Easter surprise! By providing a water lily throne, Ana turns a prickly frog into a loveable creature! Just when you thought you'd never need to make another unicorn again, Ana Paula adds a colorful, curly mane to hers; and you won't be able to resist making one of your own! Ana has included her favorites in the 72 pattern offerings; all of which can be completed in about two hours. Many of the designs include identical "Mommy and Baby" options.
Review from Inside Crochet, Issue 62, January 2015

Adorable stuffed toys are something that crochet showcases better than almost anything else, with simple rounds of stitches quickly building up a basic shape, and features and embellishments easy to hook and stitch into place for a cute and personality-filled finished look. Ana Paula Rimoli has been hooking toys for her children since they were born, and has created a great collection of 72 small and sweet amigurumi designs that will have you covered for birthdays, special occasions and "just because" gifts for an entire childhood! Many of the designs come in small sets or scenes, from the baby and daddy lion performing for the circus to the bear flying a hot air balloon and set of chicks hatching from a box of eggs. The book also includes several designs for mobiles, stroller toys and rattles as well as an entire crocheted tea set! We especially love the baby doll with removable nappy (a perfect present for an older sibling when a new brother or sister comes home), the stripy robots and the shy unicorn with its colourful mane. Most of the designs require only basic crochet skills, with shapes being built from spirals of double crochet stitches, and as many designs use only small amounts of yarn they make great stashbusters, too. These playful toys are sure to be loved both by the young and the young at heart.
