With a dozen table toppers, you will have one for every month of the year. Plus, if you are like me, you will just make more of the runners and sew them into a quilt.

There are five how-to techniques explained, along with the 12 patterns and two pages of basic techniques. Each pattern has the requisite materials and cutting lists. A color photo and sizes of block and runner are given as well. If templates are needed, they are provided at full size. Tips can be found in colored boxes.

There are long and round items and items made with cotton fabric and those made with wool. They have flowers, birds, leaves and watermelons on them. The techniques used are piecing, paper piecing and applique so you can try all these techniques when creating these wonderful items.

My only trouble is which one do I start with!
This book is perfect for quilting and sewing enthusiasts of all levels. There are a variety of fun projects, each with easy to follow instructions and great visuals. And, these projects are perfect for decorating your home, as well as giving as a gift.
Oh... these table toppers are gorgeous! The patterns are very well written, and the SewEasy section of the book has plenty of photographs illustrating all the steps for every technique. A go-to book for times when you need to make a fast and beautiful project.
Table toppers are a wonderful way to learn and practise skills. The beautiful book by Fons & Porter has some wonderful projects which are suited to anyone wanting to have a go at creating something beautiful for their home. Highly recommended book.
This book has a nice assortment of 12 different projects. Techniques used are piecing and/or appliqué. The book has a helpful section with 5 Sew Easy Techniques where things are explained in more detail - such as how to make triangle squares, how to paper piece, etc.
Really nice projects.
I found the projects to be colorful and cute with clear written instructions for foundation piecing, machine appliqué, wool appliqué, etc. Being a machine quilter, I also really liked that this book has suggestions for quilting after you have stitched the table topper together.

Review from Online Quilt Magazine, December 2014

If you are ready for some smaller quilted projects then the 12 designs in this book will provide inspiration. They are a collection of favourite table top projects selected by Marianne and Liz and combine techniques for experienced or beginner quilters. There are appliqued and pieced designs (and combinations, of course) with a comprehensive chapter of lessons to enable you to make any topper easily. The designs are so attractive and would really enhance your home decor. I especially loved the circular "Bluebird of Happiness" made with felted wool. I laughed at "Watermelon" - in fact there aren't any I didn't love. You can change your decor to suit all seasons and they would make great gifts. All instructions, hints and tips, full size patterns and even quilting designs are provided. If you are looking for smaller projects, then go no further. You'll be spoilt for choice with this collection.
