I am really enjoying this book which is full of beautiful pictures and projects I am looking forward to making. There are some very creative color combinations and quilts from easy to challenging. I plan to make "Christmas All Year" for my first project.
In Sisterhood of the Scaps , Lissa brings together some of her favorite (and mine) designers to bring this book to life. Building on the idea of a community or sisterhood,
she selects a patchwork shape to work with and then challenges the quilter to use that shape in her own creation. Seeing Lissa's creation along side that of the designers
is so fun, how each quilt is made with the same beginning idea but are so different. None of the designers shy away from an abundance of scraps or color. The book is filled with tips
and techniques, and I found it so useful in dealing with my often disorganized scraps. Martingale's styling and photography shines through, and it's a joy to read. Congratulations
to Lissa on another group of wonderful quilts. So happy to add this book to my library.

What an intriguing title! And so many scrappy quilts with a traditional vibe. My favorites for sure. This is a lovely book! Seeing the same quilt created by two designers looking similar but so very different is inspirational. What I love most about this book is how I felt inspired to do my own version rather than a direct copy of the various patterns. This is a must have book for creative Quilters looking for lots of inspiration.
