Review from Online Quilt Magazine, March 2016
Fleece may be the new favorite fabric. It comes in 60" widths and doesn't shrink or fray, so there is no seam finishing to do. This book includes patterns for scarves, hats, wraps and ponchos, pillows, loungers and blankets, then our furry friends are catered for with cushions and toys for them. You'll need very few tools to work with fleece, in fact if you are already into patchwork, you'll pretty much have all you need. There are comprehensive hints and tips on sewing the fleecy garments and toys. The use of novelty rotary-cutter blades can create a variety of different edging or make perforations for even blanket stitching by hand. Each item in this book showcases different edgings or techniques and "Just a Thought" ideas to change the pattern slightly. The contributors, Linda Turner Griepentrog, Missy Shepler and Beth Bradley have produced a book full of lovely, cuddly ideas for using fleece, one that the whole family will love.
