I’m not a fan of wool since I’m allergic to it but these projects are beautiful. From wall hangings to pincushions to storage bags to needle keepers to mug rugs, there is a project for whatever you are in the mood to make.

The end of the book has a page about the author which is always fun to see how she got started sewing.
The projects are gorgeous, the photography is gorgeous, you can't say enough great things about this book. If you love sweet little things to make then this book is for you.
Love this book! The projects in it are fast to make because the shapes are large, the embroidery is easy, and the pieces are manageable so we can take them along and work on our gifts as we travel, watch the children or grandchildren play sports, or wait our turn at the doctor's office.

I like books with pull out patterns and this one has them, as well as great information about how to prepare the wool, how to applique' it, and how to embroider those cute stitches Debbie used.

Debbie's designs are magical as they bring back memories of those early sewists in our lives. Her own training began by watching her great-aunt, her grandmother, and her mother sewing and culminated with the loving dedication of her home economics teacher, inspiring her to learn hand stitching.

If you are looking for fun wool applique' ideas for handmade gifts, this is THE book.
I have seen this designer's patterns over the years and they have always been very well written and easy to follow. Her pattern pieces, illustrations and directions are thorough. This is a great book for either a beginner or an experienced stitcher. Her projects are fun to do
Absolutely love it! Full of fun and easy ideas. The book quality is just beautiful and I'm proud to display it on my coffee table.
Can't wait to see this new book! I've just picked up hand stitching after many years and really want to do some items using wool.
