I LOVE THIS BOOK. Country Threads Mary and Connie never fail to inspire with their charming projects. This book is chock full of great quilts in both their signature Country Threads look and in brighter alternatives. I love seeing the options. You won't be disappointed with this new book!
Sew Charming presents 18 beautiful and imaginative projects. One of the features I enjoyed the most was seeing an alternative version of each pattern made with totally different fabrics - great inspiration! Mary and Connie show how versatile 5" squares are. Of course, you can use yardage or other precuts, and the alternative versions provide cutting instructions using yardage. Yeah, no math homework for us!
Have you fallen in love with charm packs and now have no idea what to do with them? Then this book should be in your library.

There are 18 patterns you can choose from and the instructions are easy to follow. There is a one-page introduction and a one-page working with charm squares so you know how to sew with them.

They each have a name of the project, a paragraph about it and a small colored photo. The material and cutting lists are next and are indented to make for easy reading. The next page is a large photo of the item and the name is stated again along with the finished quilt and block sizes.

There are graphics to help you along on your sewing and colored boxes can be found for tips. The really nice thing is that after each project is a page that gives you another colorway making this a 36-project book. Of course, you can choose your own colors and have even more quilts. The end of the book has bios of the authors.

Follow the pattern exactly or go crazy and use your own colors, either way, this book is great for helping you with ideas on using those charm packs you just couldn’t pass up.
