Mismatched blocks, make-do colors, planned mistakes, and happy surprises--it's all good at Temecula Quilt Company! Inspired by quilts of the nineteenth century, 15 petite patchwork quilts invite you to play with reproduction fabrics in quirky ways. Try wonky layouts, unexpected block pairings, and blends of color where anything goes. The results are instantly endearing--just like the quilts of yesteryear.
With Sheryl Johnson's "make-do" philosophy, you can use a scrappy fabric assortment to create charming, stress-free quilts that celebrate one-of-a-kind choices. Patterns are small, cute, and quick to stitch, each with a perfectly imperfect personality all its own. What a liberating way to quilt!

Quilting has been a part of Sheryl Johnson's life since she was a child. After raising her three daughters, she opened Temecula Quilt Co. in 2007. The quilt shop specializes in her favorite reproduction fabrics and is a light-filled shop full of eye-catching displays and traditional quilts with a vintage look. In 2009, Temecula Quilt Co. was named one of the top 10 quilt shops by Better Homes and Gardens Quilt Sampler Magazine. Sheryl's popular blog gives her customers a feel for the shop even if they are unable to visit. Sew-alongs featured on the blog connect quilters from all over the world with one common thread, their love of little pieces and small quilts. Sheryl is also a designer for Marcus Fabrics. Visit her at TemeculaQuiltCo.com or on Instagram as @temeculaquiltco.
