Mismatched blocks, make-do colors, planned mistakes, and happy surprises--it's all good at Temecula Quilt Company! Inspired by quilts of the nineteenth century, 15 petite patchwork quilts invite you to play with reproduction fabrics in quirky ways. Try wonky layouts, unexpected block pairings, and blends of color where anything goes. The results are instantly endearing--just like the quilts of yesteryear.

With Sheryl Johnson's "make-do" philosophy, you can use a scrappy fabric assortment to create charming, stress-free quilts that celebrate one-of-a-kind choices. Patterns are small, cute, and quick to stitch, each with a perfectly imperfect personality all its own. What a liberating way to quilt!

I love making little quilts and Quirky Little Quilts has lots of adorable little quilts!! The pictures are amazing. The patterns are easy to follow. I’ve started on my Christmas quilting gifts.
This book is written by quilt shop owner Sheryl Johnson. Her shop, Temecula Quilt Company, focuses on reproduction quilts, small and large. It is a delightful shop with lovely fabrics and samples. Quirky Little Quilts is a bit of the shop in book form. The photography is is very nice, you can see the entirety of each little quilt. The instructions are clear and concise. I am already working on two of the little quilts presented and am planning to make a few more. I would have loved to see photos of quilts that inspired these but that is not included. If you like reproduction, vintage, small or quirky little quilts you will enjoy this book.
Awesome little quilts! Best way to use up tons of scraps!
I have loved everything about Temecula Quilts!
Sheryl is a rock star!
Wonderful book. Filled with lots of inspiration.
I have been lucky to shop at Temecula Quilt Company a few times, so when I saw a book was coming out, I was so excited! This book is right up my alley as my friends know me as the queen of quirkiness! Lo and behold, when I spotted it at Fabric Garden, my local quilt shop this evening, I just had to have it! It’s a winner!
I love reproduction fabrics and found Temecula Quilt Co by a google search several years ago.
When I found out Sheryl would have a quilt book I couldn’t wait for it to publish and arrive. I love all her quilts! Sheryl is a wonderful designer!
Beautiful book!! Love the”scrappiness”. Great way to use up my scraps! Can’t wait for the next book! Thanks Sheryl!
I am so glade she wrote a book with all her little little quilts she has very good instructions and easy to follow . So happy I have purchased it.
I've followed the Temecula Quilt Co. for a while now and have been waiting on pins and needles for their book. Absolutely LOVE it! I've looked through it three times already and have flagged five of the projects to start immediately, if not sooner. While I love their Civil War fabric choices, I think I'll be a bit of a rebel and make my little quilts out of '30s prints. I'll probably end up making them again in Civil War repros as well. Cannot wait to get started!
I love little quilts and I love your book. Good job!!!
