Beautiful book, but I am confused. Does it have the patterns in the book?

Hi Cynthia, we do note that patterns aren't included in the book. However, there is a resource list inside that indicates where you can find many of the patterns. Thanks for your question! --Martingale customer service
Blue & White is at once inspiring and educational: as your eyes feast on both quilt and rug projects your brain engages in design mode, your fingers itch to sew, and you mentally go through your stash wondering if you have all the fabric, or wool, you may need. Then, you walk around the house discovering new places and ways to display your work as creatively as you learned in their book.

Although no patterns are provided, the sisters give us valuable advice on fabric and wool selection, as well as home accessory purchase and placement to achieve the best decorative results.

This is a perfect coffee table book. I doubt it will collect any dust as people will be drawn to its colors and photography.
This book is breathtaking. It is inspiring. It is not a quilt pattern book, nor your average coffee table book. It is so much more.

I'm a big fan of Minick & Simpson, but I have to say they've surpassed themselves with this book. Most would peg Laurie and Polly as either "Americana" or "Folk Art", which is not untrue, but they've raised these art forms to a point where their pieces look completely comfortable and at home in modern surroundings as well as more rustic settings.

Their decades of work continues to inspire as you page your way through this book, with each and every piece presented in new, and often surprising, settings that will no doubt be the envy of many a book producer to follow in their footsteps.

Laurie and Polly's years of design experience are evident in each and every detail. Everything about this book is beautifully produced and executed. Congratulations to everyone involved.
