Can mitered corners really be easy? Yes! Create a "frame" using folded fabric strips, any 90° ruler, a marking pen, and a sewing machine. Then fold back the straight portion of the mitered frame to give it a charming scalloped effect.
- Skip the math--simple alignment guarantees accuracy every time
- Choose from nine distinctive projects: quilts, table toppers, a tote, a pillow, and more
- Pair strips of different colors and turn back the bias strip to reveal a contrasting underside

Review from IHaveANotion blog
I just read Kari's latest book, Just around the Corner: Quilts with Easy Mitered Borders. What really grabs me about Kari's mitered borders is the variation of fabric colors in the mitering. Very zippy indeed! The book contains a pillow pattern and seven other projects. Everyone knows the directions have to be VERY clear and have lots of pictures if I'm going to be able to make something from a book. Kari used to be a school teacher and she is very good at explaining the process and steps to make the projects in her book. Even I understood completely what she was saying. And that, my friends ... is impressive.
