This book is full of charming, bright sunny projects just waiting for your fat quarters. There are simple pieced quilts as well as those that are more challenging, all of them made with a handful of fat quarters and some
additional yardage. I have been an Andy fan for a long time, her bright cheerful outlook shines thru in her projects. I've seen a lot of quilts made from her book pop up on Instagram and they're all
cute. My favorite is Cut Glass, and I look forward to my next shopping trip to gather a new pile of fat quarters to make this quilt. You'll enjoy Andy's book, the quilt photography and the styling is so nice, Martingale
continues to out do it's self with each new book! Of course you can always count on Martingale for great illustrations and clear instructions. I hope you add this book to your library!
I love patterns that ask me to pull fat quarters! Fat quarter cuts of fabric are such a manageable size of fabric to both purchase and sub-cut. Plus, these designs seem so fresh, bright, happy and colorful. I've got my eye on the Game Night quilt and am anxious to pull fat quarters from my stash to get started!

Andy Knowlton

Andy Knowlton has always loved color, fabric, and math, and she was delighted to discover that quilting and pattern design let her blend all three loves into one. Most afternoons you can find her in a quiet corner of her home that gets lovely, warm afternoon sunshine. It's her happy place and the inspiration for the name of her pattern company, A Bright Corner.

When Andy isn't quilting, you can find her hiking in the mountains with her dog, napping on the couch, or baking something chocolaty in her kitchen.

She lives with her husband and two kids in Utah, where they enjoy camping, exploring, playing video games, and eating cookies.
