Cathy has become a familiar voice on the phone to many who call Martingale-first in her position in the sales and marketing department, and now several years later as author liaison in the editorial department.

She has been sewing since age 11 when she began fashion sewing for herself and her younger sisters. Her love of sewing led her to become an instructor for five years with Stretch & Sew. Cathy progressed to making baby quilts when she started a family, and has been enjoying the process from design to binding ever since. She particularly loves handwork-embroidery, hand appliqu(TM), hand quilting, and knitting-as well as all things Christmas.
