The blocks in this quilt combine to form layers of graphic design that look intricate but are really quite easy to make. The Weather Vane block employs a simple triangle method. The Chain block uses the easy strip-set method for its nine-patch variations.

Mary Hickey has been an influential leader in the quilting world for more than 30 years. She continually works to bring new techniques, designs, and ideas to quiltmaking, and she has taught and traveled around the world to teach her quiltmaking techniques.
