The creative mind behind American Jane Patterns, Sandy Klop is known for colorfully scrappy quilts with an upbeat traditional look. As a longtime designer for Moda Fabrics, Sandy renders cheerily nostalgic prints in rich primary colors.

Sandy was trained as an art teacher and began quilting while living in Iran and then Saudi Arabia, teaching at an American school. After moving back to the US, she continued to build her interest in quilting, launching American Jane Patterns, selling quilt kits, teaching quiltmaking, and sharing her patterns in a variety of quilting magazines.
