There are 20 practical baby projects in this book and all are done with a tight budget in mind. With a baby coming, money will be tighter so get out your sewing machine and go to work. If not for you, then your friend or daughter or son.

Toys, bedding, on the go, bedtime and clean up are the five sections of items to make. Each pattern has a color photo and the required material and cutting list to get you started. Pattern notes and skill levels are also included. There are tips to be found in specially bordered boxes throughout.

Bibs, pants, blanket, sheets and even a baby carrier can be found in this book, just to nae a few. Of course, we can’t forget the diaper stacker or a mobile to keep the new little one’s attention. There is a 12-page sewing basics if you need help or a reminder of how to do a specific sewing technique. There is also a page of resources and a page for the author’s bio.

Whether you need a toy to add to the baby shower gift or you plan to make that shower gift, this book will walk you through it.

This really is such a great book for baby stuff. If you are having a baby, or if you are looking for some great gifts to make for a beloved friend or family member, this book has some amazing ideas for you.
If you're going to be a mum, grandmum of will get any other connection to a newborn and want to give the child/ the parents a special present; this is the book you really need! So useful and cute items to make in your own favorite fabrics. I love the sheep pillows and the "chime"... So cute!
I love the variety of items to make in this book. It is well worth the price, given the number of different things you can quickly sew together to give as gifts for others with babies or for your own baby.

Rebecca Danger's love for sewing captures your interest immediately and has you falling in love with each project page after page. As a new mum, Rebecca also tested out each of her designs on her own son and from this was able to create the perfected patterns that are included in this book. Rebecca Danger of Lake Stevens, Washington, is a craft-pattern designer who believes crafting is a lifestyle, not just a hobby. Since she really, really, really likes to knit, she started knitting rather obsessively and writing patterns of her original toy designs in February 2009. She really likes this since it means she gets to knit all day, tell the government that all of her yarn purchases are business expenses, and still afford to feed her family. She's got a great blog that you should visit:
