After a professional life centered on interior design and the architectural field, Brenda put her skills to work teaching art and design to high school students. Switching gears to indulge her love of sewing, Brenda launched Acorn Quilt & Gift Company, creating and selling patterns for quilts. Later she expanded to add embroidery, counted cross-stitch, and punchneedle patterns under the umbrella of Brenda Riddle Designs. A longtime fabric designer for Moda, she enjoys coming up with new fabric collections that exhibit her trademark vintage feel--and putting those fabrics to use in beautiful quilts.
