Ok Quilter’s... this is what you have been waiting for... I love “A Quilter’s Journal”! Martingale along with talented designer and author Lisa Bongean have put together a journal that I not only enjoyed turning the pages of but will actually use. With my very busy life, I have never been good about journaling every day or even every week. This publication will be perfect for me. Plenty of room to write without the pressure of dated pages. I also like the added blocks to make notes related to quilting. I have shown just a few but it was hard to pick my favorites. The photography is stunning and shows a sampling of Lisa’s collection of antique quilts as well as her original designs all captured at her lakeside home. A beautiful and practical addition to any quilter’s library!

Lisa Bongean

You can't be around designer Lisa Bongean for long without picking up her infectious enthusiasm for stitching, both by hand and by machine. But if pressed, she'll probably tell you her heart is with wool stitchery. The combination of richly textured wools, delightfully colorful threads, and the endless array of shapes that you can cut--she's a fan of it all! If practice, practice, practice is the key to getting it right, it's clear that's why Lisa Bongean is a leader in the wool stitchery world. Her workmanship is impeccable because she never stops making more.

The owner of Primitive Gatherings (PrimitiveGatherings.us), Lisa has shops in both Larsen, Wisconsin, and Murrieta, California, that specialize in hand-dyed wools, quilting cottons, and kits.Visit Lisa's website
